Kindergarten Collaborative Book
This is a collaborative art book from a Kindergarten class based on the book "Click, Clack, Moo."
After going over parts of a story, the students were asked to identify the characters of "Click, Clack, Moo." Then, they substituted the characters with ones collaboratively designed by the students and using a computer, collaboratively created a classroom book containing their story and accompanying illustrations. The students' illustrations are with the original book which remains with the classroom teacher.

Dadaist Poetry Experiment
This was developed as a lesson plan to introduce poetry and to allow the students to immediately create a poem using familiar text from a previous unit on memoirs. The objective was to learn about, recognize, and demonstrate the use of imagery and voice in a writing piece.
Below you will find the lesson plan including the handouts. I have used this with 5th & 6th grade, eliminating or spending only a small amount of time on some information, and spending more time on the activity itself. The lesson is planned in this manner so it can be adapted to different classrooms and ages.
